sarah is cool and the film is extra super mega weird. what else can i add.

she obviously likes makeup and to star in her own films – sort of narcissistic but if it makes her happy than why not. everybody is a bit in love with themselves but problem with true narcissism is only when your libido is completely turned towards yourself and you loose interest in real sex or even fantasies. this is not really related to sarah’s film but i felt like writing it. whatever…

to be honest i did not have the patience to watch this film all the way through, i watched bits and pieces, but i am just in that kind of mood now, i will give it a try a bit later. i just came back from watching the day the earth stood still so its hard to switch from that kind of medium to this.

i think sarah likes to flirt. i would like to see her show more skin, to be more open about stuff. obviously she is playing around the whole sex thing but she is too scared to jump into the water.

colors are great. music could be rougher.

just finished the skype poetry reading for what we know event.

skype poetry readings are quite cool in fact for many reasons:

- no need to travel – travel is not welcome in my routine because it disturbs my training too much.

- i can sit naked in my living room and just wear a t-shirt while i am reading poetry to an audience (i have not done that yet though).

- if it is in another time zone i usually wake up in the middle of the night to do it and that is kind of mysterious – like i am doing some secret or special work while everybody here sleeps.

if you were at what we know show please send me any comments on how i can improve my reading. some poems i have not read in a long time and i have also always been a horrible reader of my own stuff. i actually read very very little while i write a lot, so i am a bad reader and a fast typer.

i can not really say i am a good writer because i can hardly compose a proper sentence so i have to hide in the realms of experiments and jokes.

however, no matter how insecure i feel about the way i do stuff, when i see more established poetry readers i get so super bored by how they do it, and i realize i am probably doing stuff if not better than at least around what they do. i can not be that boring!

i don’t know.

i do too many things so i do not have enough time to research the whole thing so i rely on weird forms of marketing to get the minimal activity going. issue is in combining things like hard core ironman training, online consulting work, art and god knows what else i do.

i am sure that in next 3-5 years the technique for skype poetry reading will develop a great deal – higher res videos, maybe a more organized stage on my side, bigger projections on audience side… etc…

however i do enjoy so much being in front of live crowd and it helps me react and skype can never help with that.

i woke up for that show at 3:45am so i could be online and ready to do my skype performance at 4:00am. however my testacle was in huge pain and my adsl did not work. i did not want to drink coffee cause it would wake me up too much. i wore rafael‘s tagbanger t-shirt – the finger one – but it did not show on the video. my mistake not to organize the webcam a bit better.

i connected over my girlfriend’s mobile phone card (mine was zeroed) and i read some poetry. i heard people laughing and clapping but with a pause. first they would get confused by poems and than react. on one side i wish i was there to be amongst the people (i enjoy attention so very much) but than i am happy that i had even a little bit of that experience through skype.

i am very interested in poetry readings over skype.

one of my dreams is to get a poetry reading tour – just to travel from a town to town and do poetry readings for few weeks. i wish that would happen at some point in my life. it seems like a super cool way to spend some time.

poetry readings should in general attract people who like my work and these people are always fun to be around. other kind of people that show up are the ones who expect something else and get super pissed by me. these kind of people i also meet at shows and lectures and it is also fun to be around them because they are stimulating. i just do not like when they are passive aggressive, like when they just turn their backs on me and leave or something like that. but that is rare and not fun.

anyway interstitial festival seemed like a cool place i would enjoy.

my 29th february poster is actually made for a neen show which will happen tonight as part of interstitial festival by i cubed hypermedia in chicago. check out the website here.

my poster is printed and is on sale on spot for, i think, us$ 20. that is obviously cheaper than what i am selling it for online. i am not sure if that is a good or bad thing, only time will tell.

besides me, mai ueda, rafael rozendaal and angelo plessas will take part in the show. we will all be on skype online tonight at 2am GMT. i will try to read some poetry and converse a bit with the audience. this is the first time i am doing something like this – live presentation over skype to a bunch of people sitting in a room somewhere else. i am not sure if i would like to hear and see their reactions – maybe it is nice if i just imagine they laugh at my jokes.

anyway, today i woke up with a super annoying pain in my left testicle. it seams i have an infection of some sort again. my immune system is quite low and i keep getting sick again and again. i do not know what’s going on, i am not over-trained, i am not eating badly, i sleep well…

so my testicle is hurting me all day non stop. the feeling is same as if someone kicks you in the balls only that it lasts for 24 hours now. i do not know how much effect this will have on my presentation at this event. basically i will wake up at 3:30am, with a piercing pain in my groin, and try to be interesting to a bunch of people that i have never seen or met.
