western (gregorian) christmas confuses me.

western christmas it is the most popular religious holiday in my perception.

it makes me nervous that if i say merry christmas then i have to congratulate on all other religious holidays all the time.

there must be at least dozen major religious holidays celebrated by people i know.

serbian orthodox ones annoy me enough, but i also have to pay attention to these western ones due to media pressure.

then there are muslim and jewish ones and i do not even want to think about asian religions…

its a mess.

however i did congratulate people for western christmas much more than any other holiday.
