unabomber manifesto
a long time ago i tried to produce a book on manifestos. this is when i first read the unabomber manifesto.
two things make this manifesto interesting to me:
1) ted was arrested while i was living in ste. genevieve, mo, and i followed the whole thing on usa media a bit (it was not possible to avoid it),
2) Ted is defined as an anarchist (to be more precise anarcho-primitivist) terrorist, one of million i guess, and since im an anarchist this whole case somewhat grabbed my attention.
the potayal in usa media was more as if he is a serial killer, at least this is the impression i got, only later did the story switch to ideologically motivated terrorism.
i am not sure if it is better to say kaczinsky is a anarchist terrorist or serial killer – certainly it is annoying that all these crazy murderers end up being classified as anarchists. if a monarchist or a christian starts killing people for ideological or religious reasons their ideologies enjoy the protection of no relation. meaning these murderers are not related so much to their ideologies, while if someone is an anarchist it starts to be interesting to media and historians.
it would be better for anarchism, which in my view is a very pure and beautiful idea, should not be related so much to all these terrorists and angry people.
anyway…
i was reading the unabomber manifesto and i have to say this guy is a complete idiot. he is super angry, super frustrated, super arrogant. nothing more to say. what a piece of trash he wrote.
idea to murder people for the sake of some idiotic revolution everybody who read any history book knows will not work is super retarded.
i get annoyed when people say someone like kaczinsky is intelligent. this guy was pure anger and no brain. his methods are primitive and ineffective, aggressive and stupid.
i am not saying nothing that most do not know already, yet i just feel like saying, now 13 years later, again, that this guy is a stupid arrogant asshole.
kaczinsky reminds me of another idiot so called anarchist terrorist from my parts of the world – serbian gavrilo princip who “started” the first world war.
what is it with these people who want to get things done immediately with their crazy revolutions. killing people, terrifying people, aggressive methods, propaganda…
chill out, relax, enjoy and teach kids, write poetry and help people cross the street.
revolutions do not work, at least not by forcing people…
and sometimes geniuses are really fucking stupid.
i would have been embarrassed to publish such trash in newspapers.

yeah i went to the unabombers cabin where he was hiding out in lincoln, montana. my family has a cabin there it is a very beautiful landscape but the scariest people on earth. my uncle took me and all my cousins to see the spot where the cabin was as the government had airlifted the whole cabin out of there to be researched or something. i was the oldest of my cousins i was 10 i think and the others were like 8,7,7,6,4,2. it was just a big bare spot of land where the cabin had once been and there was a man with a table in the dirt selling unabomber t shirts. the t shirts had the police sketch of the unabomber on them with the glasses and the hood and the text said LINCOLN, MONTANA: THE LAST BEST PLACE TO HIDE. my uncle my uncle bought all us kids the t shirts and took us back to our family cabin. all the moms freaked out when we got there because all their babies were wearing t shirts with a big picture of a murderers face on them. i was allowed to keep mine but i lost it later. i tried to find it many times now on ebay but i dont think i will ever find it again. i might have to make it myself. it was a really good shirt.
