You see I was actually Facebook friends with the illustrious Wyne Veen for a while. She was the nicest Facebook friend you could imagine, especially considering she didn’t even know me. When she accepted my friend request she even took the time to look through some of my pictures and left a comment or two *sigh*. Every once and a while, craving her attention, I’d post some stupid shit on her wall and she always left a comment or said thanks.

Then the fateful day arrived. Since I was a fan of her work and had this huge crush on her I asked her to read some of my short stories. One of the stories was from when I was pretty young and I got stuck out in the bush for a while with this beautiful girl. In the story I say this obnoxious thing about her being a bottom and just about fuck up a sure thing. I guess that Wyne thought that I was writing a fantasy story about her because the next day when I logged in to FB, I noticed I had one less friend and a little while later when I navigated to Wyne’s page I noticed that she had given me the old delete and topped it all off with a “fuck-you” profile picture where she was sprawled out on the floor with her legs up in the air making this fuck-off square with both of her middle fingers.

I don’t mind telling you I was pretty bummed out about the whole thing. I guess the thing that bugged me the most was that she was really very nice and that I had just pissed her off by being carelessness. But now that I think back on it, it was pretty nice of her to leave that sexy profile pic. I guess you have to count your blessings where you can.
