visiting montebello vicentino

arzignano castello

i have spent maybe 1/5-1/6th of my life in italy but i never experienced what can be called real italian experience. i was always trapped in my own paranoia of exclusivity, work and rushing. always in concrete places related to my work.

i never cycled the italian mountains or saw where the italian food is grown. never met the real relaxed italian family that makes the basic italian stuff. never been in a small place with a regular family and ate at their dinner table.

i am finally getting closer to what i can call “more real italian experience” during my stay with andrea at his family home in montebello vicentino. very nice.

i was home sick yesterday but today i am not.
