eastern promises (imdb.com) – what an awesome film! i was always a big fan of david cronenberg but i think this is his best film so far.

david cronenberg’s films should be described as slow speed – and this one certainly is the slowest fastest of them all. it is pure power. how the energy moves from scene to scene is amazing. the end is beautiful. i wish i was more eloquent to describe the full spectre of impressions. i have just seen it, about 30 mins ago, so i need to think about it a bit and maybe come up with a better report.

however i truly suggest it.

i love armin müller-stahl. he is such a great presence and he shines under cronenberg.
