for few years i’ve been saying that with exercise we reprogram our bodies.
i did not really know what i was talking about, but i felt a need to say it.
i was trying to verbalize my intuition that weight loss is not only about energy input and output.
my feeling was that to loose weight we do not only need to spend more energy than we take in,
but that we also use exercise to teach the body to reshape itself.
that body learns and changes itself at the most basic level.
i am happy that i found a research paper which inspires my further day dreaming on this subject:
